Qualified from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London in 1999. Undertook a research fellowship at The Centre for Spine Studies and Surgery, Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. Spinal Fellowship Training was in Exeter, Cardiff and Hong Kong.
Currently a consultant paediatric and adult spine surgeon at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre, Exeter. He is the clinical lead for paediatric spine services. Currently arranging the 'Dilemmas in Deformity' meeting to be held in Exeter in 2012.
