Research strategy

The research strategy was reviewed in 2008 by the BSRF’s Board of Directors. As a result of their recommendations, and in consultation with the Association of Medical Research Charities, BSRF have adopted a research strategy aimed at funding the best quality research into scoliosis in the UK.

The Research strategy contains the following key elements:

  • The background and achievements of BSRF so far

  • BSRF’s vision and objectives from 2008 onwards

  • The scientific and research priorities the charity wishes to fund

  • The type of grants available and when funding becomes available
